Unfortunately sometimes indoor recess is unavoidable! When days like this happen and there is just too much rain to head outside for fresh air we have a choice for our morning recess. The kids are able to choose using play-doh at their table or follow along with a Cosmic Kids Yoga to get their body moving. Each child can make the choice for themselves. This morning the yoga story was called Ruby Broom and the kids enjoyed the movement.
During lunch recess on rainy days the kids have choice time table top choices to choose from. Activities are things like Legos, drawing, Magna-tiles, and puzzles. We are always looking forward to dry days in kindergarten...sunny days are a bonus!!
