In math today the kids had the chance to talk about and experiment with the concept of capacity. The kids had a variety of containers and were challenged to find two containers that held the same capacity. With each trial, we discussed which container had the largest capacity and which had the smallest.
You could try this at home using water and different containers. Keep the counters dry and just do it at bath time...less clean-up!
We also played "Top-It" with a partner.
