10 Bears on a bus...

In math today we did an activity called 10 Bears on a Bus. With this activity we were working on finding combinations of 10 using a 10 frame. The kids flipped over a number card indicating how many yellow bears were on the bus. They then needed to figure out how many red bears could fit on the bus. The kids used double sided counters to fill in a larger ten frame and recorded their work on smaller 10 frames using crayons.
