Today in math we discussed what makes a rectangle, a rectangle. After talking about rectangles, we found rectangles in the classroom. From there, we completed a design challenge....make a picture using only rectangles. We had 3 rules: You cannot cut the rectangles, your picture has to be of something...it cannot just be a design, and you must have fun! Now that our project is completed, I would say all of the students successfully completed the challenge! I was fun to see the kids how focused the kids were!
